Village of Parma

The Village of Parma is located in Jackson County in the south-central portion of the lower peninsula of Michigan. Our community is made up of traditional neighborhoods with beautiful wooded streets as well as many modern housing choices. Parma is a part of the Western School District, and Parma Elementary School, located within the village, is ranked among the highest in the state of Michigan for academic excellence.

Our historic downtown area features a mix of service oriented businesses. We're always looking for new entrepreneurs to join our growing downtown community of business owners.

The Village of Parma will begin Spring Hydrant Flushing on April 12th, 2021 and it will continue for up to two weeks.  You may experience a drop-in water pressure during this time period.  If you experience discoloration with your water, you should run your faucets until your -water clears up.  If you have questions, please call the Village Office. 517-531-4785

Park clean up is May 1st.
