Permits are required for most types of construction or property renovation within the village.  This includes but may not be limited to new construction or placement of a storage shed/building, construction or placement of any primary or accessory structure, structural alteration of any primary or accessory structure, and any driveway alteration. The cost per inspection is $80.

If you are unsure if you need a permit or have questions, please contact the Village office. If a permit is not properly pulled additional charges could occur.

A seasonal permit is also required for any recreational burning of campfire wood. This permit is issued by the Fire Department, and available at the Fire Station.

 

Due to the population density of the village, all other forms of burning (yard waste, trash, leaves) are strictly prohibited.
